Graphics Designing job can be very appealing for people having great skills in arts and drawing. These jobs are mostly related to advertisements, publicity, and logo designing. Making cool, creative, and attractive designs help companies capture the right crowd to score big in the market. However, there are some drawbacks to this job, many people are not aware of and they are given below:

·         Online print media has changed the dynamics for graphic designers who have been working for print outlets. However, with the shift in focus to internet and online marketing, a graphic web designer gets more job opportunities to work as freelancer or get a full-time job.

·         With so much competition in the market, people even with good designing skills can still have a tough time getting job. Now, different job requirements look for additional skills to go with designing skills, like web animation and programming expertise.

·         The possession of a bachelor’s degree might not be enough to secure a designing job, there is an increased demand for multi-talented individuals having good inter-personal and communication skills, ability to stick with deadlines, and providing great work on daily basis.  

·         With so many people searching for jobs in graphics designing, the stakes are sky high and margin of error is very slim, as there is tough competition between skillful applicants for limited jobs.

If you plan to make a career out of graphics designing, make sure you at least get a Masters Degree, creativity, and exposure in your field, enabling you to create a separate identity for yourself.
